## What is it?

Pinokio is a one-click installer for AI apps. Each app it installs gets a folder in `~/pinokio/api` with its code, its own Python environment, downloaded models and, often, the images or audio it generated. An app typically takes 10–50 GB.

## What happens if you delete it?

An app can be installed again from Pinokio, which downloads its environment and models again. Anything you generated inside that app’s folder is lost.

## How to remove it properly

Delete apps you no longer use from Pinokio’s home screen. Before that, open the app’s folder and copy out any outputs you want to keep.
