## What is it?

Microsoft Edge’s disk cache for every profile: images, scripts and other files from websites, in `~/Library/Caches/Microsoft Edge`.

## What happens if you delete it?

Rebuilt as you browse. Favourites, passwords, history and open tabs are kept in your profile, so you stay signed in.

## How to remove it properly

In Edge, open `edge://settings/clearBrowserData` and select only “Cached images and files”. Or quit Edge and move the folder to the Trash.
