## What is it?

Carthage keeps bare clones of dependency repositories and downloaded prebuilt binaries in `~/Library/Caches/org.carthage.CarthageKit`, shared by all your projects that use Carthage.

## What happens if you delete it?

Carthage downloads repositories and binaries again on the next `carthage bootstrap` or `carthage update`, which can take some time. Each project’s `Carthage/Build` folder is separate and keeps working.

## How to remove it properly

Make sure no Carthage command is running, then move `~/Library/Caches/org.carthage.CarthageKit` to the Trash with Finder’s Go › Go to Folder….
