## What is it?

`~/.cursor/extensions` contains the extensions installed in Cursor, one folder per extension version. Language tools can be large, and old versions may linger. Typically a few hundred MB to a few GB.

## What happens if you delete it?

Uninstalled extensions can be installed again from Cursor’s Extensions view. Your settings are kept.

## How to remove it properly

In Cursor, open the Extensions view and uninstall the extensions you don’t use.
