## What is it?

`~/Library/Application Support/Epic/EpicGamesLauncher` holds the Epic Games Launcher’s own data: configuration, logs, cached web content and records of what it has installed. Typically a few hundred MB to a few GB.

## What happens if you delete it?

The launcher recreates its data after you sign in again. It may need to re-detect or verify installed games and engines.

## How to remove it properly

Quit the launcher first. For display or loading problems, Epic recommends clearing the web cache at `~/Library/Caches/com.epicgames.EpicGamesLauncher`. Remove this folder only if you accept signing in again and re-locating your installs.

## Before you delete it

If the launcher forgets installed games or engines, use its install or verify option to point it back to them instead of downloading everything again.
