## What is it?

Games installed by the Epic Games Launcher live in `/Users/Shared/Epic Games`, one folder per game. Sizes range from a few GB to over 100 GB per game.

## What happens if you delete it?

An uninstalled game can be downloaded again from your Epic library at no cost, which takes time and bandwidth. Many games keep saves in Epic’s cloud saves or elsewhere on the disk, but not all support cloud saves.

## How to remove it properly

Uninstall from the Epic Games Launcher: open Library, click the three dots on the game, then choose Uninstall. Deleting the folder in Finder leaves the launcher thinking the game is still installed.
