## What is it?

The text-to-speech voice Siri uses to answer you, downloaded in the language and variety you chose. It is stored in a protected system folder and managed by macOS.

## What happens if you delete it?

While Siri is on, macOS keeps the selected voice and downloads it again if it is missing.

## How to remove it properly

Do not delete it by hand. To change it or stop using it, go to System Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri (Siri on Macs without Apple Intelligence) and choose another voice or turn Siri off; macOS manages unused voice assets on its own schedule.
