General

Setting What it does
Appearance Automatic follows macOS; Light or Dark forces one look for every MoreRoom window.
Scan automatically at launch Off (default: MoreRoom opens on its home screen), Home folder or Macintosh HD.
Show MoreRoom in the menu bar Shows or hides the menu bar item. On by default.
Open at login, in the menu bar Opens MoreRoom when you log in, without a window, so Storage Weather keeps measuring.
Alert me before my disk fills up Turns alerts on or off. macOS asks for permission the first time.
Play sounds Plays a short sound when items go to the Trash.
Updates Check for updates automatically, Download and install updates automatically, and Check Now, next to the version number. See Updates.
Full Disk Access Shows On or Off, with Open Settings… to change it. See Full Disk Access.

Exclusions

Folders listed under Never scanned or cleaned are skipped entirely: they don’t appear on the map and MoreRoom never removes anything inside them. Click + to add folders, select one and click – to remove it, then click Rescan — changes apply on the next scan.

Licence

Shows your Plan (Free, Pro Yearly or Pro Lifetime) and the name of This Mac:
